♥ : Mid-Autumn Celebration Monday, October 5, 2009 Hello dearest, YOU. (:  3rd October 2009 Mooncake festival is finally here! Its one of the celebration I enjoy most besides CNY. Mooncakes, candles & lanterns are being sold everywhere in town. Uh-huh, love it, simply marvellous, extraordinary. Last Saturday was daddy's turn to buy raw salmon. So, at around 4pm, we went to Piau Kee to collect the 4.78kg salmon and sent it to Uncle Chien's place for him to prepare. Oh yes, he's a professional chef. :D Went home, got ready, took the mooncakes and went to Uncle Chien's place at 7.30pm. Played for awhile then we had dinner. The food was just fantastic, like I said, Uncle Chien's a pro chef. After dinner, all of us went out to play. The kids played candles while the adults played lanterns. Well, it should be the other way round, aye? Hahah. We were happily playing and suddenly we saw fire! The lanterns which were hung on a string were burning. Jason tried to put out the fire with a hose. I was on the phone then and he suddenly called my name. I turned back and he sprayed water on me. What the heck! I was all wet. And yea, we actually burned many many more lanterns and things like part of the tree, grass, strings and even ANTS. Laugh out loud. x]  Heart shape, made by everyone.  JN & S. Lanterns.
